Position: Mortgage Loan Officer

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

The Mortgage Loan Officer is responsible for originating mortgage loans by taking or initiating the initial loan application and determining the options available to the borrower.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Market and promote Keystone Funding to realtors, builders, financial planners
Originate loans at a fair market price in accordance with all applicable laws and government regulations and in a fair and nondiscriminatory manner
Advise customers on the advantages and disadvantages of different loan products
Determine which financial mortgage products best meet the borrower's needs based on their financial circumstances
Obtain complete and truthful applications, executed, and dated by customers
Collect and analyze information regarding the borrower's credit, income, and assets
Develop a database of referral partners
Nurture relationships with existing and new realtor/referral partners
Meticulously structure loans/files for submission and submit to processing
Other tasks as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum High school diploma or equivalent required
Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in mortgage sales role
Experience making cold/warm calls to potential borrowers
Working knowledge of complete loan application process & lending guidelines
Goal oriented
High sense of urgency required
Customer service driven
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Organized and detail-oriented
Ability to work independently or as a team and manage a schedule with flexibility
Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Adobe
